The main objective of the project is to create practical Empowerment Kit to assist immigrant women with low educational background into pre-vocational / vocational education and labour market. The philosophy of the EM-kit is that pedagogical methodology of Liberal Adult Education is the most flexible way in integration in regards to individual needs of learners.

Empowerment Kit will contain:

a) Informational modules on vocational education/labour market systems, pre-vocational training;

b) Self-esteem / motivational modules;

c) Support documents for trainers/bilingual mentors in counselling and development of individual action plan.

The main users of the Empowerment Kit will be counsellor / trainers / mentors working with immigrant women in different types of organisations (Public Employment Services, NGOs, Pre-vocational / vocational education training organisations).

The proposed preparatory kit will be an important step for immigrant women’s access to employment and active citizenship through conscious choice of profession, development of individual action plan and acquirement of competences necessary for successful attendance of vocational programs in the host country.
